Life at Baskeyfield House

At Baskeyfield House, you choose the lifestyle that suits you.

In the morning, we’ll give you a call to check you’re okay. After breakfast in your apartment or the restaurant, you might choose to meet friends in our social lounge or enjoy some ‘me time’ in our quiet lounge. At lunchtime, the restaurant serves delicious hot meals or you may want to prepare lunch for yourself or for friends or family in your apartment.

If you fancy a change of scenery, you could visit the local Middleport or Grange Parks, or catch a bus into Stoke-on-Trent city centre for a spot of shopping or lunch. Gladstone Pottery Museum, World of Wedgwood and Middleport Pottery are all nearby, and Trentham Estate is a 20-minute drive away, where you can walk around the gardens and lake, or visit the shopping village.

In the afternoon, you might join us in the lounge for one of our regular social events, take part in a quiz, or perhaps visit our onsite hairdressing salon for a bit of pampering. By evening, you may want to take it easy after all the activity! If not, you can always join friends to watch TV or for a chat, a game of cards or a mutual hobby.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.
