Life at St Bartholomew’s Court

At St Bartholomew’s Court, you choose the lifestyle that suits you.

In the morning, we’ll give you a call to check you’re okay. After breakfast in your apartment, you might choose to meet friends in one of our communal lounges, or take part in one of our regular activities. At lunchtime, the café serves delicious light lunches, or you may want to prepare lunch for yourself, or for friends or family in your apartment.

If you fancy a change of scenery, you could walk or catch a bus to the nearby medieval town of Rye for a spot of shopping. Alternatively, you might want to travel further afield and visit the seaside at Eastbourne or Brighton.

In the afternoon, you might join us in the lounge for one of our regular games sessions, or visit our onsite hairdresser for a bit of pampering. If the weather is fine, you could enjoy a game of pétanque in our beautiful garden. By evening, you may want to take it easy after all the activity! If not, you can always join friends for a movie night or for a chat, a game of cards or a mutual hobby.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.
