Created in partnership with Visit England, the certification shows that the business has confirmed that they have followed government and industry Covid-19 guidelines, ensuring processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social and physical distancing.

In order to meet the guidelines, some of the processes in place include tables and chairs being more spaced out, restrictions on the number of diners at any one time, single-use menus and regular cleaning of all contact points. The Taste restaurants are also currently only open to residents and their guests, and not the local community, until further notice.

Karl Evans, Head of Hospitality for Sanctuary Retirement Living, said: “I’m very pleased that our Taste restaurants have received the ‘We’re Good to Go’ certification, in recognition of the precautions we’ve taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19. I hope it provides reassurance to residents and their families that we’re doing everything we can to keep everyone safe.”
