Visitors will be able to enjoy free tea or coffee and scone as they learn more about how life at Baskeyfield House can help them to maintain their self-reliance throughout later life.

Baskeyfield House offers modern apartments designed for comfort, independence and peace of mind.

Residents also benefit from optional flexible care packages that can offer as much or as little support as required, with hours that can change in line with a resident’s requirements.

A wide range of communal facilities helps engender a sense of community among residents and those in the wider Stoke-on-Trent area. These include a restaurant, hair salon, grocery store, games room, social activities, accessible landscaped gardens and a mix of quiet and social lounges.

Accessibility is first and foremost in the design of the Baskeyfield House, which includes level access shower rooms, mobility scooter storage, intercoms and an emergency pull cord alarm system in each room. A pamper room is also available to use.

Scheme services manager Sarah-Jane Morgan said: “Places like Baskeyfield House are great for keeping the benefits of independence in an apartment of your own while having easy access when required to optional flexible care provision tailored to your own needs.

“At Baskeyfield House, our communal facilities are helping us to develop a real sense of community and we hope people will join us in social activities.”
