An Easter craft competition took place at Sanctuary Retirement Living’s Baskeyfield House in Stoke.

Residents were tasked with creating Easter bunnies from socks using materials including ribbon, felt and elastic bands.

Craft packs were delivered to each flat and residents left their finished design outside their door to be judged.

Baskeyfield House’s Wellbeing and Inclusion assistant Karen Leigh who provided the packs selected the winners and gave Easter eggs as prizes.

Manager Sarah-Jane Harrison said: “With residents unable to get out and about at the moment, this was an ideal opportunity for them to take part in something creative and fun to promote positive well-being.

“It was fantastic to see so many residents get involved and all of the bunnies looked amazing.”
