Bank Care and Support Assistant

Noble House, Oak View Way, Worcester

£8.42 to £8.68 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

Hours as and when required - Shifts either 07:00 - 14:30, 14:30 – 22:00, or 22:00 – 07:30

We are seeking a Bank Care and Support Assistant to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Rated as ‘Good’ by the CQC, Noble House is part of a new purpose built development, Sanctuary Grove, offering a mix of 60 one or two bed independent living apartments and on-site services. If you want to make a positive impact to people’s lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to come and work within an established and experienced team.

The role of Bank Care and Support Assistant will include:

  • Providing a high level of care and support for clients to enable them to maximise their own potential and level of independence.
  • Assisting and encouraging clients to access and maintain a level of integration into the wider community
  • Supporting clients with daily tasks e.g. assisting clients with their shopping
  • Working with clients and other staff members to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
  • Having an involvement in developing clients person-centred care plans
  • Building a good rapport with the clients
  • There is no travel required for calls as all clients live at Noble House

Skills and experiences:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or willing to work towards
  • Experience is not required if you have the right attitude as we provide full training and the team provide a great support network
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work well both as part of a team and when lone-working
  • Strong organisational skills, as well as functional literacy and numeracy
