Wellbeing and Inclusion Assistant – Part Time

Ness Court, Burwell

£8.68 per hour (rising to £9.14 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

18.75 hours per week

We are seeking a Wellbeing and Inclusion Assistant to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Ness Court offers both housing and care, suitable for many individuals with care needs whilst offering comfortable environments and helping with the pursuit of independent living. The role of Wellbeing and Inclusion Assistant will include:

  • Providing front of house reception duties
  • Developing innovative and varied individual and group activities
  • Promoting and evaluating activities for clients, enabling them to reach their own potential
  • Assisting and encouraging service users to access and maintain a level of integration into the wider community
  • Working with other staff to ensure a clean and comfortable environment is maintained

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience of developing and leading resident involvement activities
  • Previous experience working with a similar client group is desirable
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Experience with working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • NVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
  • Literacy and numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C English and Maths
